A proud bullitthead

2001 Dark Highland Green #3549 and #2182 - 1968 Bullitt movie car tribute
In March 2007 I had found 2001 Bullitt 3549 on Craigslist. My friend was looking to get into a mustang so I suggested we see this car. Had 80,000 km and was one family owned. I told him when we was at the sellers place looking at it I said if you don’t buy it I will. I ended up with my first Bullitt.
After joining IMBOC, I was soon introduced to the Bullitt community. When the Bullitt Nationals was at the 2010Friends of Steve McQueen Show in Chino Hills, California, I had my first opportunity to meet many of the true Bullittheads. In the following 10 years I have driven to many Bullitt events.
My second Bullitt was 2001 2182 which was a project. It had a bad engine so I brought it back to life. In 2019 I picked up a 1968 fastback movie replica. It has most of the movie car features. I even had to build a new highland green garage to house my Bullitt collection.
I am proud to be a Bullitthead.
