I bought the car in 2006 and made some performance upgrades for track days. Updates include brakes, rotors, shocks, and struts. I changed out the gears to 3.73s. I installed a JLT cold air intake and aluminum radiator tank. I have Saleen style 18 inch wheels used for the track. On the chassis, I installed Stifflers driveshaft safety loop, a front K-member brace, and use an aluminum driveshaft. Bullitt is one of my favorite movies, and the people who own these cars are great. I have a Dark Highland Green custom painted Stratocaster guitar in tribute to the Bullitt lifestyle!
